Professional swimming pool engineer’s are all members of Institute of swimming pool engineers (ISPE) and their Managing Director Mark Pitts has also won Pool engineer of the year. We consider ourselves the best in our field and have a growing customer base gained from many of our competitors through offering a personal and first class service to all our clients.

We find ourselves working on pools and their associated plant that other pool companies do not have the relevant experience to deal with and pools that have been allowed to deteriorate through swimming pool engineers neglect. Our expertise has been gained on working on the top indoor pool designs incorporating automatic chemical dosing systems, automatic pool covers, air handling systems, UV disinfectant, ozone disinfectant and salt water pools.

All our engineers come from a electrical background and join ISPE to become swimming pool technicians (TnISPE) once they have passed papers in swimming pool design, pool chemicals, pool filtration and pool construction. They attend regular seminars to keep themselves updated on developments within the pool industry and have access to technical papers issued by specialist in pool design, pool chemistry, pool filtration and also meet the 17th edition of the IEE regulations on electrical installations. They also attend Health &  Safety courses in the use of swimming pool chemicals and their transportation.

We are in the process of developing our own training programme which we hope will allow us to take on our own apprentices in the next few years. Most swimming pool engineers have only the experience to maintain outdoor pools, but with an indoor pool you have more plant that needs to be maintained, so its important that you select and use a company that has the knowledge to fix your problems on their initial visit and can advise you on pool chemicals and keeping your pool water balanced to replacing the drive belts in your Air Handling Unit.

For customers who are not members of our PSP Pool Owners Club our call out charges are £60.00 for the first hour on site and we then charge at £15.00 for each additional 30 minute intervals we are on site.
